A classic pen style that gives a solid comfortable weight in your hand. You can twist the top half of this pen in either direction to extend the Parker style refill. The body is made of Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa), an exotic wood native to Central America. Woodworkers and turners have long valued this dense wood for fine furniture and cabinetry. Musical instruments and custom pool cues are often created from this wood. The wood is very durable has a dark brown, reddish color. This is said to be the most popular wood for pens.
