Site Under Construction - please bear with me as I convert my website over to the new Google Sites application
Some things may not show up correctly right now. Supposedly when I'm done converting over, the web pages should display better on portable devices. I'm also taking this opportunity to update the site and better organize it.
Welcome to my Pen Gallery
I create custom hand-crafted pens as well as other lathe-turned items. This web site exhibits some of my creations and illustrates the pen-making process. Every pen you see in my gallery I personally crafted in my basement workshop. I particularly enjoy crafting pens because of their ability to unite art and function. Whether you are just looking or considering a purchase, thanks for visiting. I'm always happy to display my work.
Yes, my pens are for sale!
Although I primarily craft pens for enjoyment, I am glad to sell my creations on a limited non-production basis. One-of-a-kind, hand crafted pens make excellent gifts and are a perfect choice for that hard-to-buy person on your list. The weight and feel of these instruments make writing a joy and they definitely get noticed. I've included pricing information with my pen descriptions. I charge my actual cost for shipping, which is typically $7.90 for a USPS Priority Mail small flat-rate box to USA addresses.
I have a limited number of completed pens in stock for immediate sale and have indicated these within the gallery. For any other pen you see on these pages, I can often craft a similar pen for your purchase within a week or two. I am also happy to customize the pen body material or trim plating to your specifications. In fact, most of the pens I sell are custom made to order. No need for payment until your pen is completed and you've had a chance to review photos of your pen to be sure it's what you want. There is also a full money-back guarantee should you change your mind after receiving your pen.
FYI: Do you have a piece of wood that has special significance to you? A favorite tree that had to be taken down, an old crib or other solid-wood furniture that is going to be thrown out? I can make a pen using almost any type of wood to let you literally "hang-on" to those memories.
