The body of this pen is hand-crafted out of red Tru-stone with gold matrix. Tru-stone is manufactured from 85% natural stone ore that has been pulverized to a powder then mixed with pigments and acrylic resin. The result is a material that resembles natural stone, but can be turned on a woodworking lathe with standard tools. After shaping, the Tru-stone was polished to a high gloss.
To complement the Tru-stone body, an elegant Tapestry twist pen was selected. The durable chromium plating is accented with gold titanium accents on the nib, decorative center band, and finial. In addition, a clear Swarovski crystal is embedded within the clip.
The Parker-style refill is extended by twisting the finial at the top of the pen above the clip. The lower nib of the pen unscrews to change the refill.
