PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY

I treat any information you provide to me the same way that I want my personal information to be treated - in strictest confidence. I only ask you for the information that I need to sell you a pen. I will never give out your email address or other personal information to anyone else. I will not send you unsolicited emails. I use PayPal for online payment transactions because I trust them and routinely use them for my own online payments. If you decide to pay me online (the safest way for you to pay), I will submit your purchase information to PayPal so they can email an invoice to you. That way you never need give me any credit card information. I will also accept personal checks if you prefer not to use online payment.

What information do we collect?

We collect contact information from you when you place an order or contact us for further information. When ordering, you may be asked to supply your: name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

To process transactions

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your current order. We do not send out newsletters or other recurrent e-mailings.

How do we protect your information?

When you place an order, any email communications are maintained within our secure Yahoo Mail account. After your sale is complete, any email communications will be archived off-line and eventually deleted from the web email account. Any sales records with personally identifiable information are maintained off-line.

Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your web browser that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.) While we do not use cookies ourselves, they are used by our web host, Google Sites.

As part of our web services, we subscribe to Google Analytics, which is a web analytics tool. Please see the Google Analytics Privacy Policy for further information. Google Analytics is not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. No personally identifiable information is collected. This Google Analytic data allows us to see such things as how many people visit our site each day, what pages are viewed, and how long visitors are on the site. This data is aggregated over all visitors and we do not know who the individual visitors are. If you prefer, you can turn Cookies off in your browser. This will not effect your browsing our web site (although it may effect other web sites that depend on cookies).

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties such as PayPal who assist us in receiving payments from our customers, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. Also, as stated above under cookies, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to Google Analytics on our behalf to help us conduct and improve our business.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
